A grand wingback headboard, with a whole room’s storage beneath it.
The Victoria is our most traditional ottoman bed. A tall headboard curves out into upholstered wings, deep-buttoned across its full height and finished with a line of beaded trim tracing the outline. The base stays low and plain, so all the drama sits exactly where it should: behind your pillows.
Beneath the mattress, a gas-lift ottoman base opens up the full footprint of the bed for storage, giving you up to four times more space than a standard frame.
Wings do more than look impressive. They frame the pillows, give the bed a sense of enclosure, and make a large bedroom feel cosier. Combined with deep buttoning, they create the classic, hotel-suite look that never really goes out of style.
The beaded edge trim is the finishing touch: a fine line that defines the headboard’s shape and catches the light at the edges.
Deep diamond buttoning comes as standard, hand-pulled so the fabric folds into sculpted diamonds. Alternative button finishes are available from the Choose Button Option menu above, so you can keep it classic or push it towards glamour.
| Lift | When to choose it |
|---|---|
| End Lift | Bed sits between bedside tables or against a wall |
| Left Side Lift | Open floor space on the left of the bed |
| Right Side Lift | Open floor space on the right of the bed |
Left and right are measured standing at the foot of the bed, facing the headboard. Gas pistons take the weight, so the base lifts smoothly and stays open with the mattress in place.
Winged headboards are wider than the mattress, so check the total width with View Dimensions above.
Every Victoria is buttoned and trimmed by hand in Britain, on a reinforced ottoman frame designed for up to three times more durability than a regular bed. Inspected before dispatch and supplied with a 1 year warranty.
