The Isabella keeps the top smooth and plain, then runs a line of decorative studwork around the edge of the lid. It’s a small detail that does a lot of work — a crisp metallic outline that frames the shape and lifts the whole piece above a plain upholstered box.
Traditional, understated, and it suits almost any room. Where a heavily detailed box can fight with what’s already there, the Isabella just sits properly.
At the foot of a bed, holding the spare duvet and the throw that comes off every night. In a hallway, taking shoes and bags. In a nursery, swallowing toys at bedtime. In a living room, keeping blankets out of sight until someone wants one.
The padded lid is firm enough to sit on, so it doubles as a bench — genuinely useful in a bedroom that has no space for a chair.
| Size | Works well as |
|---|---|
| 40in × 18in × 18in | Standard — hallways, single rooms, general storage |
| 54in × 18in × 18in | Matches a 4ft6 double bed |
| 60in × 18in × 18in | Matches a 5ft king bed |
| 72in × 18in × 18in | Matches a 6ft super king bed |
If it’s going at the end of the bed, match the size to your bed width — it lines up cleanly and looks intentional.
Alissia, Boucle, Chenille, Crushed Velvet, Linen, Naples and Plush, each available in a range of colours. The studwork shows particularly well against lighter, smoother fabrics, where the metallic line has something to contrast against.
Made to order in Britain, hand-upholstered with hand-applied studwork and quality-checked before dispatch. Supplied with a 1 year warranty.
