Structure in the middle, calm at the edges.
The Manhattan runs vertical channelling across the centre of the headboard, then stops — flanking it with flat, unbroken side wings. That contrast is the whole design: texture where you see it, plain upholstery where you don’t need it.
The result is a bed that has presence without weight. The channelled centre draws the eye to the middle of the wall, while the plain wings keep the outline simple and stop a wide headboard from overwhelming a room.
Side wings widen the visual footprint of the bed, which makes a bedroom wall feel properly furnished rather than half-filled. Keeping them plain means you get that width without the busyness — particularly useful in a room that already has patterned bedding or a strong wall colour.
The base stays low and clean, so the headboard does all the talking.
Reinforced divan base with up to 4 drawers available, or no drawers for a plain base.
View Dimensions above gives total width including the wings — worth checking against your wall space.
